Omggggggg if you witnessed the foolery that aired on the Lifetime channel over the weekend then you already know where this post is going. The network, along with Executive Producer Wendy Williams, tried it!!!!!
"Aaliyah: Princess of R&B" was bad! Reallllly bad!!! There were so many things going against this movie I don't understand how it was even released. As a musical artist the first strike was not being able to use any of her music due to restrictions placed by Aaliyah's family. That alone should have scrapped the whole project but nOoo they forced it. Then to add insult to injury these mediocre #catfish versions of characters were no where close to the real artists we know and love. The disaster that played out on the screen was laughable. And then that ending!!!!!!!!!! BOOO Wendy! BOOO Lifetime. #donttryagain
