Selena Quintanilla-Perez will be Coming to a Stage Near You as a Hologram!

Yes, you read that correctly! Ms. bidi bidi bom bom herself is getting her own hologram! Selena was a beautiful and talented Tejano artist taken way before her time at the tender age of 24. The announcement that her music will be brought to life once again during Selena The One sounds kinda dope! The tour and hologram are actually still under construction at this point but should be ready by 2018 according to developers.

In Memory of...The Notorious B.I.G.

Christopher George Latore Wallace (May 21, 1972 – March 9, 1997), better known by his stage names The Notorious B.I.G., Biggie or Biggie Smalls, was an American rapper.
Wallace was raised in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. When he released his debut album Ready to Die in 1994, he became a central figure in the East Coast hip hop scene and increased New York's visibility in the genre at a time when West Coast hip hop was dominant in the mainstream. The following year, Wallace led his childhood friends to chart success through his protégé group, Junior M.A.F.I.A. While recording his second album, Wallace was heavily involved in the growing East Coast/West Coast hip hop feud.
On March 9, 1997, Wallace was killed by an unknown assailant in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles. His double-disc set Life After Death, released 16 days later, rose to No. 1 on the U.S. album charts and was certified Diamond in 2000, one of the few hip hop albums to receive this certification. Wallace was noted for his "loose, easy flow",dark semi-autobiographical lyrics and storytelling abilities. Two more albums have been released since his death. He has certified sales of 17 million units in the United States.
18 years ago today we lost a great talented soul. The mark that Christopher Wallace left on hip hop was epic. A legend in his own right. I still can't believe he died at the tender age of 24. Mannnnnnnn. I just wanna turn up today by sharing some of my fav Biggie classics.

In Memory of [The Voice] Whitney Houston

Born on August 9, 1963, in Newark, New Jersey, Whitney Houston released her debut album at age 22 and scored three No. 1 singles. Whitney (1987) delivered four more No. 1s and earned Houston her first Grammy, with later albums including I'm Your Baby Tonight (1990) and My Love Is Your Love (1998) as well as soundtracks to The Bodyguard (1992) and Waiting to Exhale (1995). With her marriage to singer Bobby Brown in 1992 and ensuing drug use, Houston's career got off track. She eventually made a comeback with 2009's I Look to You and also co-starred in the the film remake Sparkle. Houston died from accidental drowning in a hotel on February 11, 2012.

It was 3 years ago today that we lost a legend, our beloved Whitney Houston! Definitely one of a kind. This lady was everything!!! As a tribute, please check out some of her classic tracks as well as some vintage photos of the fallen star! May she rest in peace!
