Welcome to Chi-Raq: A Spike Lee Production!!! [Movie Trailer Inside]

With an all-star cast, Spike Lee's latest project, Chi-Raq gives us an up close and personal look at what it's like living in, America's most violent city, Chicago. Looking like a war zone in some areas, the city was given the nickname of Chi-Raq (Chicago + Iraq) because the homicides and violence is comparable to the living conditions in Iraq.  The film will be in theaters December 4th, 2015, starring Nick Cannon, Teyonah Parris, Anya Engel-Adams, Wesley Snipes and Angela Bassett. [Interview] K. Michelle wants Her Old Booty Back opts to Remove Butt Enhancements

Hmmm so K. Michelle was interviewed by none other than B. Scott recently. During the interview she explained why she decided to get her body enhanced. She said that she always wanted a huge butt that she never really had so when she got her coins together that's exactly what she got. Now with all the attention, scrutiny and backlash she said she's tired of the focus being on her bottom and not on her God given talents.

Rick Ross and Lira Galore Call off Their 2 week Engagement!

Shooting at T.I.'s Atlanta Restaurant Scales 925 [Police Report Inside]

The restaurant, Scales 925, owned by famous Atlanta rapper Tip Harris better known as T.I. looked like a scene straight out of the wild wild west, after a parking lot shoot out last night in Atlanta. One man was injured and police are still trying to locate the shooter. Drugs arrests were also made after marijuana was found at the scene.

According to the Police Report via AJC:

“On 10-25-2015 I responded to a Person Shot call at 30 Ivan Allen Blvd. Upon arrival I spoke to (a restaurant employee) and he stated that he works for the 925 Scales Restaurant, and he stated that five or six males were in the restaurant on the upper deck, and they were having a verbal altercation between them, and they were asked to leave the location by staff.

“All the males left the location and headed to the parking lot. The verbal altercation continued, and it turned into fight between a male with a red shirt, and a heavy set male. (The employee) stated that he heard one gun shot, and he saw the male with the red shirt with a gun on this right hand and he headed to the West Peachtree Street side of the building. (The employee) was not able to see the person that was shot.

“There is video footage from the restaurant that shows the altercation on the parking lot, and the male with the red shirt shot at Mr. Glen Rice on the left leg, and the subject left the location as a passenger on a black sedan that was parked on the curve waiting for him. Then Mr. Rice was seen on the video running on Ivan Allen Blvd. side of the building, and he threw a black revolver on a stairwell that was adjacent to the sidewalk.

(The employee) stated that he saw a black Porsche come out the parking lot of the restaurant after the victim was shot, and headed to Ivan Allen Blvd. A black Porsche was also seen on the video, and it made a u-turn on the middle of the street, and picked up Mr. Rice and continued on Ivan Allen Blvd towards Peachtree Street. Several units were working an extra job on Peachtree Street blocking the road for an event, when they saw a black Porsche drive through the blocked road, and stopped at Peachtree Street and Linden Ave in front of Emory Hospital. Mr. Rice came out of the front passenger seat, and laid on the sidewalk of the intersection bleeding from his leg. Mr. Rice stated that he was shot and he did not know who shot him.

The driver of the vehicle parked the vehicle at 68 Linden Ave, and exited the vehicle and returned to where Mr. Rice was. (The driver) stated that he was on his way to pick up Mr. Rice from the restaurant, and he noticed that he was shot on the leg. He picked him up and attempted to drive him to the hospital. Grady units 374 and 604 arrived on scene and transported Mr. Rice to Grady Hospital. Two crime scenes where set up.

“One of them at 30 Ivan Allen Blvd in front of the Scales restaurant, and the second one at 68 Linden Ave at the parking lot where the vehicle was parked. Sgt. Collins Arrived on the 30 Ivan Allen Blvd crime scene, the entire front of the restaurant was roped off with crime scene tape. A .380 Auto shell casing was found on the sidewalk on West Peachtree side where Mr. Rice was shot.

“A series of drops of blood leaded to the loaded revolver that was found on Ivan Allen Blvd side. The serial number of the weapon is: H37601 Smith and Wesson 32 Cal. Long. I ran the weapon and it is possibly stolen out of Chattanooga, Tennessee. It takes them 24 hours to confirm if the weapon was actually stolen, and an investigator will follow up with Chattanooga. ID unit 7346 arrived on scene and took pictures on the scene, he took blood samples of the sidewalk, and took the shell case, and the revolver and they were placed in Police property as evidence. I drove to the next crime scene on 68 Linden Ave where the vehicle is located, which was secured by Officer Bien-aime. ID arrived on scene and took pictures of the vehicle.

“I noticed a black book bag that was abandoned on the parking lot next to the Porsche. I opened the bag and found 240.4 Grams of marijuana and a US Passport that belongs to Mr. Rice. ID took pictures of the bag and its contents, and the bag was handed over to Investigator Fowler along with $5,953 dollars in cash that was in Mr. Rice’s possession when he was shot and they were left inside the vehicle to be taken to property as evidence. Mr. Rice was charged with Reckless conduct and possession of marijuana (240.4 Grams).”

Hmmm so that's no good. Scales 925 hasn't even been open that long either. I was looking forward to checking this place out but after that I don't know. Folks always know how to mess up a good thing I tell you!!!!!

Adele Returns to the Music Scene with New Album + New Single - Hello [Video Inside]

Well well well, will you look at what the cat dragged in. After a 4 year break from the music scene, Adele announced via Instagram that she would be releasing her third studio album, 25, on November 20th. The powerhouse vocalist took some time off to enjoy the fruits of motherhood and being in love.  She stated that this new album will be about her personal growth and self reflection.

The first single off the album is, simply titled, Hello. Adele sings her heart out on this one and I'm here for all of it. Totally looking forward to this new album. It's so nice to see her music come back to life. She's such a breath of fresh air.

Khloe and Lamar Odom Call Off Their Divorce!

Awww You see people "true love" will last thru hell, health and sickness. Word on the curb is that Khole and Lamar have decided to work on their marriage and have halted their divorce proceedings.

TMZ Reports:

Khloe's lawyer Laura Wasser went before a judge Wednesday morning, asking a judge to withdraw the papers they both signed to end their marriage. The file was sitting in a pile waiting to be processed and signed by a judge.
The judge granted Wasser's request and the file is now dead.
Khloe filed for divorce in December 2013, but sat on it for a year and a half because she tried to save her marriage by trying to get Lamar into rehab. She finally gave up this summer.
As we reported, Khloe privately vowed to be by Lamar's side during his recovery, which will take months, and a few days ago they both agreed to give their marriage another chance. They both signed the document Wasser presented to the judge, asking that the divorce case be dismissed.

Lamar's condition has improved but he will need long term care and still has a long way to go. If it is genuine that is really nice of Khloe to continue to be right by his side. #byeHarden

Hopefully they can get through this difficult time and it strengthens both of them as a union.

In case you missed it, Tidal hosted a concert last night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Beyoncé, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Usher, T.I. were part of the all-star lined up to perform at the event to celebrate Tidal's one million subscribers. WoOooHooOO
It was also rumored that Prince would be performing but he was later removed from the roster.

Former NBA Player and Reality Star Lamar Odom is Fighting for His Life

Sad day in America folks. If you haven't heard by now, Lamar Odom is in a coma after allegedly using some form of herbal Viagra. There is also speculation that he may have also used cocaine at some point during his stay at a brothel where he was found unresponsive. Currently fighting for his life, surrounded by close family from the Kardashian camp and friend, Kobe Bryant.

TMZ Reports:

Lamar Odom took 10 Reload pills over the course of 3 days before he fell into unconsciousness -- according to people at the brothel -- and the FDA says the pills are so dangerous they've advised consumers to throw them away IMMEDIATELY.
The FDA determined Reload contained sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra. The label does not reveal the presence of that ingredient, which is normally restricted to prescriptions monitored by a doctor.
The FDA says sildenafil can "lower blood pressure to dangerous levels."

It's been a tumultuous few years for the Lamar. He's been battling addiction, lost his best friend, Jamie Sangouthai, to an overdose, his separation from Khloe Kardashian and now this. At this point he's been given a 50/50 chance at surviving. Very sad situation indeed and I sincerely hope he pulls through. I will keep you posted as more details become available. The most controversial was your spat with Amber Rose. Do you think you slut-shamed her?
I just feel like it was unnecessary for her to say anything, and I used her own quote back. It was from her talking about when she became a stripper so I’m like, “How are you judging and saying Kylie should have a curfew?” What I thought was crazy was she was telling my sister to act a certain way or have a curfew, but [she wasn’t] doing the same. So just don’t comment. How was I slut-shaming by saying don’t throw stones at glass houses? There was no slut-shaming. I am not one to slut-shame, I have done slutty behavior myself.

You’re maternal with your younger sisters and you’ve gone to bat for Kylie a lot recently. First off, what’s going on with the lips?

Sometimes things bother her. When it comes to her lips, I knew it was one of her biggest insecurities. She used to always take pictures covering her mouth. I didn’t even know when she first did her lips. It wasn’t noticeable, then it started getting bigger and bigger. I guess that was something she just wanted. I always wanted a boob job and I wear a padded bra all the time.
Why haven’t you gotten one yet?
I went to a consultation when I was 18 and my dad found out and got so mad at me. He died shortly after, and I remember just being like, “Well, he doesn’t want me to do it.” I wear push-up bras anyway. I’m all for stuff if it’s for you. If you want to get plastic surgery, I’m for that, but getting your lips filled in, that’s temporary, too.
The criticism is that Kylie is only 17 years old.
Kylie might be 17, but from what Kylie has been through and the life she lives, she’s not a normal 17-year-old.

Do you feel that the criticisms of Kylie and Tyga’s relationship are fair?

I think at 16 I was probably fucking someone that was in their 20s, for sure. I wouldn’t say I was even dating, probably just sleeping with them. But again Kylie is not a normal 17-year-old. You’re not gonna say, “Hey, so what are you doing this weekend?” and have her say, “Having a slumber party at my girlfriend’s,” or “Going to prom.” That’s not what Kylie does. Kylie is taking business meetings and bought her first house, or she’s going on a private plane with Karl Lagerfeld to take a meeting. That’s not even what people do in their 30s. It’s a rare circumstance, so let’s treat this as a special case.

The About Bruce specials just aired. What’s been the reaction?

That was the only show I had full-blown anxiety for. I don’t know if I’ve used appropriate terminology; I don’t know if I’m offending anybody. I’m learning as we’re filming, so even my reaction is so aggressive and so protective. I’m so…I’m angry, I’m sad, I’m confused. You try going through that in real time, and see what your reaction is. You don’t know. You can’t control it.
During the specials, you took the announcement of his transition the hardest, but it seemed to be because you felt out of the loop.
None of us ever knew about his transition, and that’s what got confusing on the special. He spoke to us about six months prior and said that he’s always dressed up in women’s clothing. We used to find them. I just never told my mom because…we all didn’t know. There were always rumors that he was a crossdresser back in the ’80s. That was a different time; we didn’t know if it was some Studio 54 thing. But he never said he was transitioning. In his soul, I think he knew. He’s been the most amazing parent to any of us. When my dad was alive, we would pray for [Bruce] and say how great it is to have a stepdad who loves us like we’re his own kids. [Bruce and I] are the closest out of the Kardashian kids. I think what hurt me the most was that we as a family wanted to be a part of his transitioning. I could imagine that it’s so lonely. Don’t you want people to support you and be there with you? But then I don’t know if that’s a selfish request.
The scene where he and Kris speak at the table was the most hard-hitting. It was so genuine and emotional.
She wants him to be happy, she wants him to be who he feels in his soul that he needs to be. I think she just wants to make sure that her life for 25-plus years is still valid. She was questioning, “Were you really in love with me? Did you really want to have sex with me every time?” I think the hardest part was feeling like so much was happening and we were the last to know. It’s a different relationship. It’s a different personality.
