Kevin Hart is a Rolling Stone!!!

Funny man Kevin Hart graces the cover of the August issue of Rolling Stone
Say what you want about the man but he's on top of his game. Started from the bottom, now he'e here. From Stand up, movies, his own tv show, Kevin hart is not going anywhere any time soon,
He chopped it up with the legendary magazine to discuss his career moves and why he feels he's his only competition.

He says success hasn't changed him, and yet he also styles himself a "comedic rock star." He tries to keep his mostly autobiographical jokes true to his increasingly surreal life without alienating fans. "You don't ever want to look down on your audience," he says. Hart counts among his mentors superstars like Murphy and Chris Rock, and comics' comics like Patrice O'Neal and Dave Attell, but ultimately he is comparable to no one in his field. To truly get his measure, you need to think about artist-businessmen like Jay Z or Tyler Perry. Hart has had a production company for five years; he leads a crew of comedians, nicknamed the Plastic Cup Boyz, who open for him at arenas and whose careers he hopes to launch to new heights. On the horizon, he is developing a video-sharing comedy site that he intends to rival Funny or Die, and has plans to penetrate the lucrative fitness sector. Kevin Hart, in other words, wants to become the world's most hilarious mogul. "At this point," he says, "I'm competing against Kevin Hart."

Well alright, alright, alright!!!! lol

Magazine Fab: Orange is the New Black Cast Members Cover Essence and Rolling Stone

My my my, well don't they clean up nice? With Netflix's very own Orange is the New Black, season 3 release right around the corner [June 12th] the ladies have been making their rounds. Celebrating being sexy at every size, #OITNB stars Laverne Cox, Uzo Aduba, Danielle Brooks, Samira Wiley, Vicky Jeudy and Adrienne C. Moore cover Essence magazine's July 2015 Body Issue, draped in beautiful variations of orange, of course. They look absolutely gorgeous!

Looking super bad ass,  Taylor Schilling and Laura Prepon are also getting some of the #OITNB spotlight on the cover of Rolling Stone

Taylor Schilling and Laura Prepon on the cover and no-holds-barred interviews with the cast, creator Jenji Kohan and memoirist Piper Kerman, whose book inspired the series. Mac McClelland's cover story explores all of the reasons why the series has become mandatory viewing – how it primarily features women in its cast, shines a light on gay and transgender issues and gives a voice to one of the most marginalized groups in America: prisoners.
It also delves into some of the bigger-picture issues that underlie the show's drama and humor. "Our prison-industrial complex is out of control," Kohan says. "It's something that needs to get talked about, and I'd love to start that conversation. But I can't be didactic about it. I'm here to entertain. This is my activism."
In the article, actresses Laverne Cox, Uzo Aduba, Selenis Leyva, Lea DeLaria and Natasha Lyonne, among others, all reveal how they've drawn from their personal lives to make one of the most enthralling shows on television. In the video below filmed at the cover shoot, Schilling and Prepon talk about the dynamic between the cast members, the feedback they've gotten from viewers who've been in prison and how the show has opened a window into a world most people don't know much about. Watch it, then check out the biggest revelations from our cover story:

Jay Z jumps on the Streaming Music Wave with TIDAL!!! + Announcement Ceremony!

Are you ready to ride the wave? Jay Z wants you to ride out out his new streaming music service called Tidal!

According to Rolling Stone:

The Tides They Are-A Changing," Jay Z tweeted Sunday night, trumpeting the arrival of Tidal, the Swedish high-quality audio streaming service that the rapper recently purchased. Beyoncé, Kanye West, Jack White's Third Man Records, Rihanna, Madonna, Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Daft Punk and Nicki Minaj are among those who have aligned with Tidal, changing their Twitter profile photo to cyan blue in support of Jay Z's fledgling service.

"Together, we can turn the tide and make music history. Start by turning your profile picture blue," Kanye tweeted, while Madonna wrote, "Music makes the people come together. Join Madonna and turn your profile picture blue. Do it for the music." Each tweet was accompanied by the hashtag "#TIDALforALL."
The new Tidal site is counting down towards 5 p.m., when Jay Z will conduct a "special announcement" in New York. The press conference will be streamed live on the Tidal site, which champions itself as "the first music streaming service that combines the best high fidelity sound quality, high definition music videos and expertly curated editorial."
With streaming revenues passing CD sales and chipping away at digital downloads, Tidal enters a suddenly congested market that will soon also feature the rebooted service from Beats Music and Apple. However, like Neil Young's Pono, Jay Z is hoping that an emerging taste for high-quality audio – spurred by the sales of boutique headphones like Beats by Dre – will give Tidal an advantage in a streaming war where every service can essentially offer the same music, albeit at different quality. In addition, many artists are beginning to grow disenchanted with streaming king Spotify for their meager pay-per-stream payout.
Beyoncé, West and White's involvement suggests that the rapper might have another advantage in addition to superior-sounding streams: Exclusive content directly from major artists available only for Tidal users. Taylor Swift's 1989, which the singer pulled from Spotify, is already available on Jay Z's service.
Tidal offers two price tiers: For $9.99 a month, Tidal Premium boasts standard quality sound along with high definition music videos. Tidal HiFi will cost $19.99 a month and features the Lossless High Fidelity sound quality that its competitors can't offer, as well as the HD music videos and curated editorial. New users can sign up for a free 30-day trial to test out the service.
